During the process of jury selection for her trial for attempted murder in New York, Dr Aafia Siddiqui alleged that she could not get a fair trial because she felt “everyone here is” a Jew. She said she would “boycott” the trial unless the Jews on the jury were removed.

Islamabad: American Congress delegation called on the Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani at GHQ to discuss the situation prevailing in the region.
The delegation was lead by chairman of American Government Rectification Committee Stephen Lynch. During the meeting regional stability and other issues of mutual interest were discussed. The impacts of the decision taken during the London conference on Afghanistan were also reviewed.

ISLAMABAD: The former President of Bank of Punjab (BoP) Hamesh Khan has been arrested from the United States.
The Spokesman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Ghazni Khan Thursday confirmed Hamesh Khan’s arrest in the United States saying that the US Justice Department had also informed the Pakistani government in writing to this effect.
