Effective Interviewing
Before the interview, decide what information you require. It may help you to write yourself a list of questions or keywords, which will help the interview go smoothly. It is important that you listen to the candidate carefully, as well as getting all of the information you want, it will also help you to expand on the interviewees answers. Try to avoid asking questions together as this may confuse the candidate, as well as giving them the option to avoid certain questions. To round off the interview you could ask the interviewee if they have any other information that they would like to add or any questions they would like to ask. At the end of the interview you should let the candidate know when they will be contacted with a decision, and then thank them for taking interest in your organization.
